The CIS inverters have an IGBT and the necessary control logic. The integrated microcontroller, which generates the control signal, is serially booted from the CIS main unit. To minimize power lost during the switching procedure, the IGBT is mounted on a heat sink that extends outside of the switching cabinet.
The lines for evaluating the motor temperature sensor T+ and T- are at the negative DC bus potential (and shifted from ground potential by half of the DC bus voltage), therefore the same measures must be implemented when wiring and isolating them as the ones implemented when installing the motor lines (secure isolation to ground potential and securely isolated circuits).
